 For Sale: 1976 Lotus Elite.  I bought the car in 1987 with 11,000 original miles. I put about 2,000 additional miles on it before the engine lost a main bearing. With the engine out I decided to pull the body. I stripped the frame had it treated in a hot alkaline bath then painted with imron. Since then the car has been stored, at first inside but for the last few years outside. There is no engine, the interior including the dashboard and trans have been stored inside. For Sale: 1986 Esprit for sale.  I am the third owner and have had it for 13 years.
